The coconut fish curry is the reason to come — genuinely the best I've had outside Mombasa. Service slowed badly once the terrace filled around 8pm, so go early or book. Parking is properly guarded, which matters on that stretch of Mpaka Road.

Waited 40 minutes for mains on a Tuesday with half the room empty. Food was fine but at Ksh 2,100 a head I expect someone to check on the table more than once. The menu price for the prawns was 300 shillings below what we were charged.

Dennis, the prawn price changed on the 20th and our printed menus were still the old ones — that's on us and we've refunded the difference. The Tuesday wait was a kitchen staffing gap we've since fixed.
